6.0 Performance Monitoring

Selecting Performance Monitoring analytics on Installation and Smoke test sequences.

Once a project has completed there are data metrics available for the Installation and Smoke Test steps for each Application from the Test Sequence.

These can be compared to other operating systems tested within R3E and can be used as a 'baseline' for measuring its utilization of either CPU, Memory, Hard disk, GPU (if applicable) and the Network Card on the Task Runner machine.

In the screenshot below you can see that the Smoke Test step has been selected as a Baseline on the 1809 OS and has been compared to another Project previously run on a 1909 OS.

By analyzing these measurements using our open API you will be able to decide if a particular application has a performance issues on various operating systems and by comparing various builds and OS's you will be able to choose the most compatible one for your applications stack before rolling out a new build, feature release or Security Patch.

This data is captured on the Installation and Smoke Test steps only and for a limited time (circa 30 seconds). R3E does not monitor this output over a long period of time.
